Come to the Catch Tank to create your own story about “the one that got away” or your own tall tale stretching the truth about the size of the one you caught!
Children and adults enjoyed hours of excitement fishing at this portable fishing pond, stocked with adult fish that range in size from 1 to 6 pounds. These fish are willing to give a hardy tug on the line! The Catch Tank is staffed by Junior Angler Personnel who will supply rods, reels, and bait, as well as assist participants with this catch-and-release fun. Special equipment for handicapped youth will be available. |
Texas Junior Anglers is a non-profit organization that aims to get children of all ages exposed to fishing. Fishing is a lifetime sport that builds self-esteem and provides a positive outlet for our youth. Involving children in a sport that provides equality for race, gender, age, and physical/mental abilities provides a means of relaxation and a time for family communication, while encouraging a lifetime enjoyment of the Texas outdoors.
